The Contemporary Research Dual-Program QIP-SDI HDMI & 3G-SDI IPTV Encoder with Universal Rackmount takes video sources and converts the signal to MPEG-2 or H.264 and can be output as a single MPTS or two SPST Multicast or Unicast IPTV stream. One HDMI and one 3G-SDI input supports source video up to 1080p. Two additional composite inputs support encoding, captioning, and EAS use.
Web set up, monitoring, and firmware updates are available through the USB and Ethernet ports. NTSC and PAL video sources are also supported. It’s 1 RU form factor allows for easy installation with the included rackmount and power supply.

The Contemporary Research ICC1-232 Display Controller provides access to power control, channel tuning, volume control, and local control lockout via RS-232, receiving iCC-Net network commands over the same broadband coax that carries the CATV channels. It receives iCC-Net network commands over the same broadband coax that carries the CATV channels. This compact unit can be networked with up to 4,000 displays using the Contemporary Research head end units.
